Istanbul is a special city full of a rich history of conquering empires, religious tolerance, and tea with baklava that melts in your mouth. It’s made of seven hills on two continents sitting on each side of the Bosporus River. Writers have shared their experiences through the written word of truth and fiction. Spy’s have hid in dark corners or been in plain site in cafes sipping dark Turkish coffee, planning their next move. As you can see, I like the history that makes up this bold place of intrigue, and maybe you will too if you have a chance to add it to your itinerary. #istanbul #turkey

The pink primrose, according to quick research of the flower, means femininity, grace, youth and renewal. It’s one of the first flowers seen in the Spring. I saw my first ones in the English countryside of Devon in 2020, and when I saw them later in a Lidl store I had to buy them. They seem to be hardy plants, having survived my house and then at least a couple of winter’s outdoors. They are a sign it’s time to tend the gardens, where leaves have provided perennials mulch and protection from the elements. #primroses #gardening #spring
